Antique 19th Century Wooden Ladder Back Chair

Ladder Back Chairs, with their woven rush seats and high backs, have been used since the Middle Ages.

This beautiful wooden chair is from the 1800's, and is perfect for the hallway, bedroom, undercover deck area, or living space.  These are particularly suited to country, rustic and boho style spaces.

It is over 100 years old, and presumably, has had many persons using it for seating.  Consequently, it is slightly wonky - however still very sturdy and able to be sat on in its new life.

107cm H x 59cm W.

Condition 
In good condition, consistent with age and use. The front turned bar has previously come away from the frame and re-glued. Seat is intact.
