An undisputed icon of 20th-century design, the LC4 Chaise Longue was created in 1928 by Le Corbusier, Pierre Jeanneret and Charlotte Perriand as the ultimate machine for relaxation.
More than ninety years later, it remains one of the most celebrated pieces of modern furniture ever produced.
Manufactured by Cassina, the exclusive licensed producer of the LC4, this example features the classic combination of a polished chromed tubular steel frame, supple black leather hide sling, cylindrical leather headrest, and contrasting black lacquered steel base. The elegant curved profile is designed to follow the natural contours of the human body, allowing the chaise to glide effortlessly into the ideal reclining position.
A masterpiece of Bauhaus-era innovation and timeless craftsmanship, the LC4 is equally at home in contemporary interiors, architect-designed homes, or discerning design collections.
