An example of mid-century German porcelain, this striking disc vase was produced by AK Kaiser Porzellan in West Germany during the 1960s.
Expertly crafted in fine white porcelain, its distinctive flattened form is adorned with an intricate moulded relief that radiates from a central circular motif. The crisp monochrome finish highlights the depth and texture of the design, allowing light and shadow to accentuate its sculptural quality.
Bearing the blue underglaze AK Kaiser factory mark to the underside, this vase is an elegant representation of the refined craftsmanship and sculptural aesthetic that defined West German porcelain during the mid-century era.
Elegant displayed on its own or with a handful of stems, it is a timeless decorative object that effortlessly complements both modern and mid-century interiors.
