Vintage Décor Mid Century Concertina Sewing Box

Wooden concertina sewing boxes were commonly used by women from the early 1900's, to store their needles, pins, buttons and pieces of fabric in one easy location.

This piece is most likely from the 1950's and hand-crafted in cedar wood.  Both sides extend sideways in a concertina fashion to rest in interesting positions.  

Use the compartments for storage, open one side up or both to hold a striking position in your living space or hallway.
