An understated but striking example of Scandinavian art pottery, this Swedish stoneware vase beautifully captures the organic forms that defined Nordic design during the mid-century period.
Crafted in richly glazed olive green stoneware, the distinctive flattened disc silhouette is adorned with an intricate moulded relief featuring stylised foliage, scrolling motifs and three chalice-inspired forms. Twin loop handles frame the composition, while subtle variations in the glaze create depth and movement, highlighting the craftsmanship behind this beautifully considered piece.
Marked 'Made in Sweden' to the underside, the vase dates to approximately 1965–1975 and reflects the timeless appeal of Swedish ceramics, where sculptural form and functional design exist in perfect harmony. The earthy olive glaze and richly textured surface make it an effortless addition to both contemporary and mid-century interiors.
Whether displayed as a standalone decorative object or styled with a handful of branches or seasonal stems, this vase brings warmth, texture and enduring Scandinavian character to any space. Would be perfect against a cream wall, atop a wooden sideboard or table.

Excellent vintage condition with no chips, cracks or repairs. Very minor wear to the underside, including remnants of an original paper label, is consistent with age.
